The other day, I asked my boyfriend and a girl we know to pose for me for some pictures for an art project. I first started by taking photos of her by herself. She seemed pretty shy but gradually started to loosen up. She needed to be told exactly what to do in order to feel comfortable, so after taking photos of her alone for a while, I realized that she may actually be more comfortable posing with him for some additional guidance/to not be the sole center of attention. He stepped in the frame and first I took photos of them with her sitting and him standing behind her.
There was definitely a little bit of sexual tension but she also seemed more comfortable now that she wasn’t entirely on her own to figure out what to do in front of the camera. When we got enough pictures of her sitting in front of him, I asked them to stand together and get close, and pose somewhat romantically. He stood behind her and held her waist as they both looked into the camera, with her hips lightly pressed against his. We tried a few different variations of this before I asked them to face each other. When they turned toward each other, he held her close to him and things started to feel a little more heated. The sexual tension definitely was more palpable and they started to lean in more toward each other without me needing to ask.
