Witch Mary’s slightly unconventional Halloween
Mary was getting slightly anxious when she looked over at her calendar. Below the skeleton drinking a glass of milk the text “OCTOBER” was written in all caps and the number 31 was circled in multiple times with little purple hearts surrounding it. She felt anxious, because this year was a bad one for witches all over the country. Sure, it was better than what she heard from her grandma who experienced two witch hunts, but it was nevertheless horrible. Usually during Halloween she would join various parties and go outside in her normal witch attire, because this was the only time of the year when she did not raise any suspicion and could really be herself. She would go around collecting “samples” from healthy males for some of her potions and maybe toy around with a few females who looked depressed, despite it being the best time of the year.
