It’s not wrong to be with someone older. If someone makes you feel good, that’s what matters. Not their age

For a relationship? I’d wait till you were closer to your mid-20s before getting into a relationship with someone decades older than you – the life experience/maturity power imbalance is just too big before you’re about 23-25, in my opinion. But once you hit about 25, I think any age gap is fair game.
And I say this as a dude who recently turned 50 and who’s relationships since his divorce have all been with a 20-22 year age gap.
For sex, most older men have more experience so we are better at it. For relationship the age gap can be a problem. If you are younger than half their age plus seven than it is unlikely to work out. I am for instance 40, so if I try a monogamous relationship with a 20 years old it is unlikely to go well. However non-monogamous approach can actually work since both side can access the things they cannot get from one another.
