The Manipulative Assistant
Out of all the jobs I imagined working, I never expected to be an accountant/financing manager for a banking company. It wasn’t 5 years ago that I was a strong athlete as a football quarterback in university choosing a simple business degree as a major that way I could focus on my athletics and maybe get drafted in the NFL. I was a top tier prospect with many teams interested. It wasn’t until the last game of the year playing for my small town university in Amarillo when I got clocked with a head shot by a nearly 400 pound defensive back by the opposing team knocking me out cold and giving me a horrendous concussion permanently ending my career when I realized, I would have to join the workforce.
