8 – Reunion

“Okay. Here we go.” Lionel tensed his body, trying to be like water but feeling like stones. “Easy does it.”

4 – An Ancient Melody

Prince Lionel walked aimlessly through the palace, still seething over the encounter with the princess. She was like a stranger to him! He guessed that was just the way of things from now on. It was not on his shoulders alone to carry the relationship so he would drop the weight. He needed to find something to do with his life. Prologue
It was finally time!
The last week of high school in the Noland Academy was over and the students from the fourth year just graduated. It was time for the traditional graduation field trip to Vega.
Vega city was a Resort city on the third planet of the Vega system, about 25 light years from earth. The trip consisted of a seven-day luxury cruise, fourteen days in the resort and seven more days on a cruise.
140 students were embarking right now, some teachers were organizing them and assigning cabins. Students were excited, most of them had never left earth before and Vega city was notorious for being very good for a bunch of late teens wanting to party.
It was time to have some fun and let loose all the steam that high school built up. And space travel was totally safe, there were no accidents in the last hundred or so year. So, what could possibly go wrong?
