“Look at her,” Cody whispered to Marco.
Bent over, Sarah Jane swapped out the empty paper trays in the copier. The office burns through paper as one of the busiest financial firms in the city. As the newest office temp, Sarah Jane was what you’d expect: young, beautiful, fashionably dressed in a stuffy conservative office, the eye of attention among all the male employees. Considering how few women work in the firm, Sarah Jane was a welcome sight among the horny execs who like beautiful young things.
Marco, an unlikely 3rd year analyst, has quietly climbed up the ladder at this high power firm. He was smart, but quiet. He didn’t fit the usual types that head their hedge fund divisions: cocky trust fund boys that got their jobs thanks to their rich parents’ connection with the firm’s partners. Marco worked hard to get his first entry position, but has been stuck in his current role as he wasn’t very good at selling himself. Next to the taller, more confident men, he seemed invisible to the superiors up top, but even more invisible to the women who dated investment guys.
