Hi there! Thanks for clicking my post. I wrote this for a chat buddy. If you enjoy, I’d love to hear about it! I especially love hearing from women who got something out of it or who want to talk about if different genders approach this kind of literature differently.

“Are you still with us, professor?” whispered a voice.
Roger snapped out of it. “What?” He looked around. Most of his students stared at their desks, bored, minds elsewhere, too lazy or too disinterested to care about today’s lecture. He had done it again, gotten lost in thought after making eye contact with her, with Alex, the gorgeous student in the front row. The way she had looked at him brought back a flood of memories, a quiet night in an empty bar, an electric walk to the car, a frantic drive to his apartment…
Roger glanced at the source of the voice, a young woman named Hannah. She was one of those students who applied themself to the material, bringing questions and observations to every class. Her brow knitted in concern. But, no one else seemed to have noticed his lapse in focus. He nodded and reassured her with a smile.
