He walks her to his car. It’s a red Chevy SS with a mean, quite growl. He opens the door for her, closes it as she takes a seat, and walks over to his side. Before opening his door, he pauses and takes a deep breath. “Wow,” he thinks to himself. “She’s, absolutely, stunning.”
The first destination is dinner. He picked a local restaurant that he knew had great food and an almost bar-ish atmosphere. It wasn’t too packed due to the game being on last night and not tonight. The waitress asks what drinks they’ll be having and while he orders a beer, she orders a vodka soda.
“He’s so good looking,” she thinks to herself. “Tonight I’m his.”
The conversation dies and they both get quiet for a second. Almost, awkward. As he takes a swig of his beer, she decides to make things interesting. She switches seats to be on the same side of the booth as him. She sits close. “This is a lot of fun,” she says, smiling at him. Flirting.
She puts a hand on his thigh, “so, tell me about work today.”
