-Make yourself at home!
Nina looked around. Sapphire’s, no, she mentally corrected herself. Emily’s place was a mess. Clothing was thrown on every possible surface. One wall was covered in terrariums, the rest were drowning in posters. It was small, dark, chaotic and surprisingly cozy. Just like Emily. Her blue hair and dark clothing and makeup were mirrored in the decoration. Zebra prints, bright blues, greens and purples, fuzzy blankets and funky carpets were haphazardly thrown around in an attempt to decorate.
-I’m going to shower, announced Emily, grabbing a towel from the floor.
Nina sat on the futon that took most of the living room. When Emily came out of the bathroom, her blue hair dripping on her naked shoulders, she looked like a teenager. Without all her goth makeup, her features were round, fresh and childlike. She smirked at Nina.
-Go wash my squirt off your hair. I’ll order pizza and roll us a joint while you’re in there.
The bathroom was filled with plants and beauty products. Nina rubbed her ruined makeup off her face and washed her hair with a strawberry scented shampoo. The body wash felt luxurious and made her skin soft and velvety.
