There she was standing in front of me. Holding my dorm room door open as I stood there in my boxers and t-shirt, when I think back to that night, I wonder, did I recognize her disheveled hair the reddened skin at the base of her long slim neck? I locked my eyes to her large green glazed opals, her lean against the door frame showing the effects of a night of drinking. Quickly coming out of my daze, just moments before I'd settled in to an evening defending humanity.
Not that I hadn't checked what Laura was up to, my stomach had twisted more than I'd wanted to admit knowing she was on campus but would be off at a party. I couldn't really expect much more, we'd been on a few dates, hooked up a few times but she'd been up front that she didn't want anything exclusive. But those big green eyes, long slim body and warm mischievous smile had a way taking hold of me.
