“You should join our Discord server,” Mack said after class. He was eyeing my drawing of Teemo on my notebook, which should’ve been covered with notes from statistics class. It seemed to catch him off guard that I knew what League of Legends was because he never paid any attention to me before.
“What’s your number?” he asked.
This should’ve be an easy question to answer… *God, how could I forget my phone number?!* My hands started to feel sweaty. I can’t remember the last time a guy asked me for my number.
“Relax,” he laughed, “it’s not that kind of Discord.”
He handed me his phone.
“Put your number in there and I’ll send you an invite to the server.”

I haven’t been on too many Discord servers since people tend to be aggressive. I joined a book club, a girl gamers server, and of course, an Animal Crossing server. Now that I think about it, I couldn’t wait to get home, hop into something more comfortable, and play some Switch.
“Damn, harder day in class than usual?” a voice chuckled as I shut the door behind me.
