My First Time, Part 2 [MM]

“Loved everything about tonight. Hope to see you again soon,” the text message read on my phone not even a block away. I immediately saved *Ben’s number in my phone.

My first time with another man went better than I ever could have imagined. My head was still swimming with lust, passion, and every gay thought I’d ever had up until this point. I couldn’t believe I was walking away from Ben’s apartment having just sucked his dick…I could still taste and feel his hot cum lining my mouth and throat as I boarded the train to get back uptown to my friend’s apartment where I was staying. It wasn’t too late in the evening, so there were still a good number of people on the subway. I thought it was pretty devilish how I knew what events transpired not even 10 minutes ago while everyone else stood with blank stares out the windows, just commuting back home as they usually do on a Friday night.

My first time with a man. My heart was pounding. I don’t know if I want to do this…yes, yes I do. My heart races faster as I walk along a part of Manhattan I don’t usually frequent on my way to his apartment.

The movies don’t do justice to how you might meet someone for an encounter such as this. Most involve a night of drinking at a bar and an eager guy who’s pretty sure you’re into him. He takes a chance and grabs your hand, maybe rests it on his leg. A sure-sign to communicate exactly what he’s thinking. A fairytale montage from the scene at the bar to a cab, and finally the inside of his apartment where he ravishes you in a whirlwind of passion and unknowns that turn into your favorite things you never knew about.

But we live in the 21st century. And those kinds of scenes are reserved for heterosexual people who expect these things to happen in their life naturally. So, this night didn’t start at a hip Manhattan joint under the dim glow of bar lighting and a hot blush across your face you’ve never felt. This happened over an app. With a level of uncertainty. But a world of possibilities awaited me on the other end of this Internet conversation.
