Sometimes life is nuts. Many years ago back in college I was dating a coed who still lived with her parents at home.  They had a beautiful house and had recently built out a fancy sitting room with thick sliding glass doors.

I love dogs and was horrified, ” Didn’t you try and clean it?” I asked, ” who does this to their dog?”

She said, ” I was going to in the morning, but my dad found it first.”

I was speechless at this point.  We broke up a few months later.  Years later I still feel a tinge of guilt whenever I see a Daschund.
