Previously the women returned to Anity’s planet to try to learn more about the fate of her family and her home town which had been taken over by pirates. They met up with one of Anity’s old companions, Clark, who suggested they infiltrate the pirate camp by posing as slaves for sale.

———-

“Yeah, sorry, I’m not so sure about that.” Lisa was explaining to a disappointed Clark. “I’d like to exhaust our other options before trying something as risky as infiltrating a pirate base. Let’s see what we can learn around town first.”

Clark shrugged “Oh, well okay, it was just an idea. I’ll get my stuff and we can head to town then, just give me a few minutes.” With that headed back into the room to put the slave outfits away.

“Well he was awfully disappointed by that decision.” Rachel remarked as Clark left the room.

“Yeah well I’m not here to make his penis happy,” Lisa replied. “Besides I’m in no mood to be a captive of the Black Claw again.”

“Good point,” Rachel replied and shuddered a bit while remembering their ordeal with those creepy Night Terrors.

Clark gathered some scrap to barter and loaded it into his pack while the three women gathered some supplies from their spaceship. All prepared now the four adventurers headed to town. It was a good 3 hour trek through a dense forest to get there, and by the time the town finally came into sight there was no shortage of sore muscles and tired bodies.

In a clearing off the path before town Anity sighed and sat down on a fallen log, “okay this will have to be as far as I go. Every pirate in town knows what I look like, and it wouldn’t be a happy reunion.”

“You’ll be ok here alone?” Rachel asked.

“Oh I’m not staying here,” Anity replied as she took her backpack off. She undid the straps and rummaged around in it for a second. “I’m going to have some fun with this!” She said holding up the camera she’d found in Lisa’s quarters on the Rose Rocket.

“Huh, I never took you for a perv.” Clark remarked with a bit of a smirk.

Anity gave him a disapproving scowl, “Oh that’s rich coming from the guy who sits around naked all day watching porn.”

“Hey now, it’s not all day. You just had fortunate timing.” He said with a wink.

“Anyway…” Lisa cut in, “what are you planning on recording?”

“Hopefully I can put it somewhere I can watch the pirate camp. If I can sneak close enough, of course.” Anity replied.

“Okay but be smart about it!” Lisa replied, “call if you need us.”

“No worries, I know this area pretty well after all!” Anity reminded the others, and with that they parted ways.

“She’s worried about her family.” Rachel half-asked, half-stated when they were well out of earshot.

“Yeah, they were pretty close.” Clark replied.

“You don’t think she’ll do anything risky, do you?” Lisa asked.

“Oh no, I doubt it.” Clark chuckled as he replied, “she was always the good one with taking calculated risks.”

The three finally walked rounded the last bend and came out of the woods into town. Clark took the lead and headed towards a small market where he sold the scrap in his bag for a few coins that he took to another vendor to exchange for some basic food stuffs and military rations. “Enough to survive on for a couple weeks.” He explained to the two women, who’d been busy trying not to look so overly out of place. It was obvious they were outsiders here, from the way they stood to their clothing. The sleek modern-looking tops and pantsuits made from synthetic fibers contrasted greatly with the drab cotton pants and tops of the locals.

“So let’s go learn something from these pirates,” Clark offered as he tossed his pack on his back once again.

“How are we going to do that?” Rachel asked.

Clark held up a few coins he had left over, “should be just enough here to get the three of us tipsy for a few hours. There’s a bar at the end of the street here, many of them frequent it. Let’s see if we can make some new friends ya?”

“That’s your idea? Us getting drunk and smoozing with criminals?” Lisa scoffed, fairly annoyed at Clark for his wild idea.

Clark just shrugged, “well it always works in the movies.”

Lisa just groaned.

“Well more for me then, I’ll drink your share for you.” Rachel quipped. “I’m ready to have some fun and hey if it helps Anity, that’s like two birds with one stone!”

Clark laughed and turned to Lisa, “I like your friend here. Well you can keep an eye on our stuff at least then.” He winked at Lisa.

The three of them turned several eyes as they walked into the darkened bar. It was filled with all manner of beings. Some wore simple clothes similar to Clark’s and Lisa surmised these were locals. Others did not however, many of those others looked rather dirty like they might have come from the mines, while a smaller number were clearly off-worlders like Rachel and Lisa.

Clark spotted a corner booth and claimed it for the three of them. He gave the waitress enough for several rounds with a request to keep the drinks coming, and she did. Drinking commenced in earnest. Lisa however just nursed her bottle of local ale while Clark and Rachel fully committed to the plan and downed all varieties of intoxicating concoctions, laughing and joking the whole time.

It wasn’t long before Clark noticed a girl on the dance floor making eye contact with him. “Hang on, I’m making my move!” He announced to the table before heading over her way. The two women watched as Clark approached the girl. He said something inaudible and she laughed then the two of them started dancing.

“Clark really likes this place don’t you think?” Rachel asked Lisa while stirring some fruity concoction lazily with her finger.

“I suspect he just wanted an excuse to get drunk.” Lisa replied rather bluntly, clearly not amused.

Rachel laughed a clumsy drunken laugh, “ok true, but it makes this whole ordeal much more fun.”

“Sure, but we haven’t learned anything yet,” Lisa retorted.

“What’s a pretty thing like you trying to learn?” A man’s voice came from behind Lisa.

The two women turned and looked up into the eyes of a very large man. Two other smaller individuals were behind him. They were offworlders too by their looks.

Lisa became a bit flustered and fumbled over her words for a second before Rachel chimed in “I wanna learn why you have that black hoop earring!”

The big man laughed and winked, “Well sure thing tiny, you two were here with someone?”

“Ya with him…” Rachel said pointing in the vague direction on the dance floor, “err… wherever he went. He went dancing with some girl.”

“He’s my cousin,” Lisa offered as a cover story, “we’re visiting him in town for a few days.”

“Really?” The large man replied, “Welcome then, you two mind if we join you?”

“Only if you tell me what’s up with the earring!” Rachel laughed as she chimed in again.

The large man sat down, and his two friends joined him. Neither of the smaller men had really said a word yet. They both looked younger and a little on the shy side.

“Need a round of beers here!” the man shouted to a passing waitress as he sat down. Then he turned to Rachel, “You know of Black Claw right?”

Rachel nodded, “Oh ya! We know them well! Wait… are you a pirate?”

Lisa tensed up a bit and hoped Rachel wasn’t too tipsy to watch what she said; given their less than friendly previous encounters with the pirates.

The man laughed out loud. A big belly laugh that seemed to fill their corner of the room, “More of a freedom fighter I’d say, but ok sure!”

“Wait so why do you have the earring but other pirates don’t?” Rachel asked.

“A bit of craziness on my part, that’s a long story. You gals ever heard of a planet called Nova?” The large pirate asked.

Rachel’s eyes grew as large as dinner plates in an instant.

“Yes! I did my thesis on Novain hieroglyphics and symbolism!” She shouted excitedly. “Have you been to the planet? I really want to go there but haven’t had the chance. We’ve been meaning to go but keep getting sidetracked.” She was rambling excitedly.

The large pirate seemed surprised for a moment, “Really? Well isn’t a cute little thing like you just full of surprises! So you can read their scribbles then?”

“Yes, some of it! I mean no one understands all of it, not by a long shot. A lot of it seems to have been lost to time, but we can make some good guesses…” Rachel began tracing circles and shapes on the table

Lisa closed her eyes for a moment and sighed, she wondered if they were going to learn anything related to Anity’s family now that Rachel was distracted in conversation, and Clark was who knows where.

“Beer?”

Lisa opened her eyes. Their drinks had arrived and one of the quiet pirates had pushed a mug her way.

“Oh sure, thanks,” Lisa said and took a drink, she might as well enjoy herself at this point if they wrre chasing the mystery at hand. “So what’s your name?” She asked the pirate who had pushed her the drink.

“I’m Sam,” he replied.

“Oh, are you a pirate too Sam?” Lisa asked, trying to make conversation.

“Yes,” he replied

“Oh how long have you been with Black Claw?” Lisa asked.

“A little while.”

Lisa smirked a little, this guy was as good a conversation partner as a wall. “Do you like it?”

“It’s ok.”

She glanced over at Rachel who seemed to be having the time of her life lost in conversation and yawned a bit. Lisa was having trouble staying awake now.

“You come to this bar a lot?” Lisa asked.

“No, not really,” the pirate replied.

Lisa yawned again, “oh sorry, it’s getting late for me I guess. Where do you usually go?”

“We drink in the camp a lot.” Sam replied.

Lisa fought off a vague feeling of wooziness and suddenly had the urge to use the restroom.

“Hang on I’ll be right back,” she told the table. Lisa was hoping Rachel would offer to come, but she was lost somewhere going on about the meaning of a humanoid figure with a ram’s head.

Lisa stumbled her way to the bathroom. She felt happy and warm now, though seemed to be having a bit of trouble keeping her balance. The finished and flushed, she thought. All the lights seemed a little bright tonight.

She managed to get the door open again and head out into the small hallway. The hall seemed to curve upward and around back on itself now. There were all manner of voices around her, and she smiled pleasantly as she passed them.

There was a warm touch of lips on her own now. It was quite pleasant, and Lisa leaned into the kiss eagerly as her body basked in a gentle feeling of euphoria. Bodies moved around in the blinding white light of the hallway. They called for Lisa to kiss them, which Lisa did happily. Her body was wrapped in a wonderful embrace by many arms. She felt warm air on her bare breasts as her body spasmed slightly in wonderful pleasure. She squealed happily as she felt them be squeezed and squished.

There was happiness and uncertainty, fear that gave way to giddiness, and no end to the bright tunnel.

————-

Lisa blinked and opened her eyes, the sun was shining brightly down on her. “ugh my head!” She groaned.

“Hey, she lives!” Anity quipped.

Lisa looked around in confusion. Rachel, Clark, Anity and herself were in that clearing where they left Anity earlier. Only it was day now, not evening like it was when they entered the bar.

“Wait, why are we here? what’s going on?” Lisa asked.

Rachel laughed, “this is all the further Clark could carry you. How much did you have to drink?”

Lisa shook her aching head, “hardly anything, like one drink and a few sips of another. Feels like I had a dozen though.”

“Yeah you were acting like you had a dozen. I mean the way you were making out with those two little pirates by the restrooms before you passed out.” Clark added.

“I did what!?” Lisa spoke up in shock, “Last thing I remember I was going to the bathroom, and feeling a little groggy. Then everything was bright and warm…”

“They spiked your drink,” Anity cut in bluntly.

“No… what? You really think so?” Rachel asked in surprise.

“Yeah, they used to do it all the time when I lived here. Those pirates get away with all kinds of horrible things. They’re basically running the town, remember?” Anity seemed completely unsurprised about the whole matter leading Lisa to feel rather fortunate she was ok.

“Oh no, I’m so so sorry!” Rachel apologized. “I wasn’t paying attention like I should have been.”

“Ugh, wonderful. To make it worse I didn’t learn anything useful,” Lisa lamented as she rubbed her forehead. The light was beginning to get a bit easier on her eyes now at least, but this headache seemed like it wasn’t going away anytime soon.

“No worries, it happens. The rest of us all did anyway.” Anity replied in a comforting tone.

“Seriously? You all found information? I was the only one who didn’t?” Lisa asked.

“Hey no worries, remember?” Anity replied, “besides most importantly we need you to help decide what lead we follow up on first.”

“Yeah,” Clark spoke up now from across the clearing. “ We can’t agree. So that girl I was dancing with was a miner. Said she knows how to get in and out of the mine. Should we want to sneak in and find Anity’s brother, she’s willing to help if we want to try and get him out.”

“Also…” Rachel took her turn now, “I learned the pirates are really interested in Nova from that big guy at the bar. Some kind of mirror armor for spaceships or something I didn’t really get all of it. Sounds super amazing though. It has something to do with technology from Nova, and what they’re doing here.”

Lisa turned and looked at Anity next, “So for my part, I climbed a tree outside the pirate base and saw my sister in one of the tents there. I left the camera there to watch her, it seems she’s being held not far from the wall on the forest side of camp.”

“Wow you guys were busy,” Lisa sounded impressed. “You all got great leads and all I want to do is wallop that stupid shy skinny asshole right now…”

Clark laughed, “Yeah, I don’t blame you for that.”

“I agree, we teach him a lesson at some point. But seriously, where should we start?” Rachel asked.

————

Option A: Let’s work on freeing Anity’s brother from the mine. We’ll have insider help, and could learn more about anything mysterious that’s happening in there.

Option B: This is a creepy and potentially dangerous connection between the pirates and Nova. We should really investigate why they want that tech. Let’s fully focus on that first.

Option C: Let’s save Anity’s sister. She is within a stone’s throw of the edge of the camp, we could get in and out fast, and she may know something since she’s living there.

Option D: We really need to wallop Sam, that pirate who drugged Lisa. Enough said, no one messes with our friend!

Hello again everyone! 👋

Sorry this chapter took a bit longer, I had a busy weekend! Hope everyone is doing well and let me know your vote for next chapter! 😉

Rejected storylines from last time would have had Lisa and Rachel rescuing Anity’s sister, either with or without a sexual encounter, or leaving to travel to Rachel’s home planet without Anity’s family.

Hope everyone has a safe and sexy day! 😊
