some of you guys probably figured out what city I live in, and that’s ok. considering that people can get lost in a city of 6 million people in over 600 sq miles of land, it’s easy to not to run into people for years.
which is great when doing plenty of Craigslist meetings.
I was doing the rounds of mandatory medical things a man my age have to do and was quite frankly, I was tired of it. at the last minute my doctor ordered me to take a series of tests and to head to another doctor a few floors above him.
I groaned and I looked at my watch. 3:30. if I’m lucky, I might be out by 4:30.
no such luck. there were people way ahead of me. accepting defeat, I pulled out my laptop to keep up with the office and do a little redditing.
as I’m eventually called up, I go through a battery of tests, doing various things while doing some casual flirting with the nurses and telling them jokes. finally, I get to see my doctor. so they shuffle me away to some small room and wait. and wait.
