Anyone else get a thrill when you see the word “Pics included” in a story title?

Don't get me wrong, I love the stories on here. They are undeniably hot and don't need pictures to paint the image their words do.

And yet, whenever I see that a post includes pictures, I can't wait to see it. Maybe it's the fact that it feels unquestionably real (even though yes this can be faked).

Anyone else ever get that old feeling?

  1. I don’t like the pictures included. I think half the fun is creating the visual in your mind – the best ones almost leave a memory as vivid as a movie you once watched…. Might just be me though

  2. Oh for sure, I love them too. It’s the reason this whole sub thrives the way it does. But it brings another level when there are pictures included for me. It doesn’t necessarily make it a better post, but it is exciting to see, even if it’s just to get an idea of who our writer is.

  6. I’ve had both reactions; I think it works better for me when the initial description happens to match an old flame. Ok, there was also one case where the pictured people turned out to be absurdly hot versus what I had visualized.

  7. I’m glad you emphasize not needing pictures. I’m ambivalent, and seeing pictures requested/demanded in the comments I find annoying. The pictures can be quite hot, but I’d rather no authors get driven off by picture requests.

  8. I can’t help but be cynical about pictures. I feel like they are always faked, and to be honest it puts me off reading those stories.

  10. All things being equal I MUCH prefer ones with pictures. However, if I have a well written story and no pictures or a poorly written one with pictures I’ll take the well written one every time.

  11. I’m definitely a visual person and love having pictures to back up the fantasy sometimes. Also, I’m curious about whether my conception of a person’s description matches the photo, whether our brains work the same way

  12. I mostly get excited when I see a name that I recognize, like /u/lsugirl90, /u/thrwwwyy (who has deleted all posts here), and /u/cheme_bitch (who has deleted her account)

  13. I actually prefer the ones without pics (unless it’s someone like highavailability) because I always question the validity of the story. Like, it makes me feel like they just grabbed the pics from somewhere else and wrote a story about them, instead of writing a story about a real experience they had. And if it was a poster I was unsure about before, pics just make me even more suspicious. Part of the reason I like this sub is the implication that it’s real.
