I had managed to get Tammy a passing grade for the math class she had been enrolled in. She made the decision that she would take the summer term, and yet another math class. I of course agreed that I would be there to tutor her.

Before everybody judges here this was three years ago and we broke up shortly after. It’s not my proudest story but I wanted to share it.

I had been dating D long distance during grad school and would come home to stay with him during long weekends and holidays. One night while back in the city, I received a message from T, my former college boyfriend. He was moving to San Diego in two days and wanted to get together for drinks before he left the East Coast.
