There’s this new girl at work named Claudia. She is pale, with blondish hair, but she’s Hispanic. She has nice plump lips and a really pretty smile. The first thing that people notice about her, however, is that she’s in a wheelchair.
Since I show the newbies around work, I’m usually the first to get to know them and introduce them to the culture. I actually really liked talking with Claudia. She had a Mexican accent, but spoke English perfectly. I learned that she was really really smart and moved to the United States to increase her earnings potential. With the few conversations I had with her, I knew she would have no problem with that.
We became really comfortable with each other. She really opened up and told me about family back home, how work is going well, and how she wishes she wasn’t in a wheelchair. She told me she could feel everything, from the waist down, but it’s almost like if her brain’s connection with her legs was cut off.
She then began to joke/complain that she never gets any “action” because of it. This was very interesting, because she was actually very attractive and really smart.
