I stood up from my desk, double checking every bit of data before I entered the lab. It took me days to make sure that absolutely everything was right. I knew it was, I never make mistakes, but for a project this important, there was zero room for error.
I walked passed the empty pod and towards the one that was occupied. A small etched plaque on the outside read “Lena”. I elected not to put a number on the chamber, I figured it would be better for her mental health that way. Not that it mattered, she was my clone with every single memory that rolled around in my own head. I knew exactly what she would think when she woke up. Still, for the sake of research I decided to take it a step further.
But first I admired my work through the glass. She was identical. Same shoulder length brown hair, button nose, and thin lips that almost curled upwards. If it went correctly, then dimples would show when she smiled, but I’d know soon. Breasts were the same C cup, right down to the freckle on her left breast. We were both thin, semi wide hips, and sadly a mostly average ass. I had to just assume that everything inside was the same for now, but partial testing was about to begin anyway.
