The truth is, I am a hopeless romantic. It is Valentines this weekend, and I know for some this is a blissful holiday, and for others, it’s just a Hallmark celebration. But regardless of your relationship status, this day should still be filled with love. Let it be a reminder that your heart, pulsing against your chest, is filled with love. That you have love to give, and that you have love to receive.
I have had the privilege of falling in love, getting the chance to be introduced to what love is, and it taught my heart how to love. I’m addicted to the adrenaline that love brings, the chemical indulgence that is overloaded in our brains when we feel it. I know love now, because of how long I have loved. And I am not finished loving.
You deserved to be loved. You are already loved, but there is not a capacity to how much love you can still receive. There is a brillance to you, a wonderful light that you radiate. I will never dismiss the beautiful human that you are, and neither should you. I want you to feel the love that I hold in my heart, I want to pass it onwards to you. For that you become familiar with the welcoming warmth of my love, inside your own soul.
