Kylie rested her head on Anthony’s shoulder as he held her hand on their flight.
“Are we going into the office when we get back?” Kylie asked. Anthony chuckled.
“It’s Saturday,” he said. Kylie groaned at her own forgetfulness. “It’s been a long week. I did want to stop there quickly before I brought you home.”
Kylie lifted her head and looked at him.
“I can take an uber or the train like I usually do,” Kylie said.
“Absolutely not,” Anthony said. He kissed her head. “It’s the least I can do.”
Kylie gave a small smile and snuggled into his shoulder again.
They grabbed a quick drive-thru lunch on their way to the office. Anthony went into his office to check the emails he had been neglecting and groaned when he came across one he felt needed his attention.
“Do you mind if we stay a little longer?” he asked. Kylie looked up from her phone.
“I really can just take the train home,” she said.
“No,” Anthony said. “I just need to address this email.”
“Yeah,” Kylie said and she got up. “I’ll just do some homework.”
