So I used to travel for work and these days I’ve started to again for the first time since the pandemic. I had a long layover at a major international airport so I went to a bar to get a few drinks to occupy myself and get comfortable before my overnight flight. It wasn’t very busy and I got a drink and sat at a table in the corner to zone out. After about 15 minutes, the staff bought me another drink even though I didn’t order one, and he said it was from someone else. I was zoned out into my podcast so I didn’t think much of it at first and just drank it since it came directly from the staff, but about 15 minutes after that he came back with another drink. I asked him who is buying me these and he gestured to a man sitting at the bar, who waved at me. I waved at him back and smiled and put my AirPods back in.
