After my graduation from UK, I started working in Sales for a reputed firm there. Everything was great but then COVID happened. My dad’s business was impacted heavily (it’s a manufacturing and services unit) and he forced me to join as one of the directors. I always had interest in our business but I wanted to wait for a couple of years so that I get some corporate exposure.
Nevertheless I joined and started working on raising the sales of our units. I started pitching aggressively to the new comers in the industry who are having the time of thier life post covid.I also took the initiative to introduce a new product last year which led to decent profits. But all the efforts made were just not that big. The orders we got were not sizeable and profit it made was very less since some of our clients who were our prime customers (50-60 percent of total revenue) decided thier orders massively. One such client was Mr X. He had a terrible reputation in the market but he was one of our biggest customers.
