New Year’s Eve with my second option to make my crush jealous! [MF]

We all know how big events feel like something big can happen. That’s what the last New Year’s Eve before Covid hit felt like. I (25) invited to a party with my friends a girl I liked, Pamela (24), that recently left her boyfriend. Her accepting enthusiastically, and knowing I was into her before, it felt like a sure thing to me that I could end up that night with her.

After New Year’s countdown with the family, I put my suit and went to the party. An hour later, I received a call from Pam telling me she was downstairs. I went to bring her with us, making some presentations and getting back to drink and have fun.

I have to tell Pam looked amazing that night. She was 5.4′ with brown hair, brown eyes as well and a really beautiful smile. She didn’t have a slim body, but the way she dressed, and especially that day, made me desire her even more. She was wearing a green dress with some silver accessories, and her hair worn up with a pin that made her look amazing, something I told her as soon as I saw her. She smiled and thanked me, telling me I looked great as well.

The best way to say goodbye to a job with a coworker [MF]

Last week I finished my substitution at the place I’ve been working for the last 6 months. It was an office that has 8 workers (including me). When the woman I was replacing called to tell us she would be back in a couple of days, I was actually sad. It took me a couple of months to open up with my colleagues because I’m really shy and introverted, but I ended up feeling part of their group. It was a mix of men and women from my age (27) up to the fifties.

On my last day, we went after work to have some drinks as a goodbye. It was a fun night, promising some visits if I had time and so on. What we didn’t realized was Celine, one of our coworkers, was on vacation and didn’t know anything. I decided to text her telling her what happened, and the next day she said she was so sad I was leaving and she couldn’t be there with us.

The following week, I decided to pay a late visit for them, with the bonus of some pastries for them. They were happy to see them (and even more for the food) and I got to meet the woman I replaced, helping her with some of the work. And I got to say goodbye to Celine too.
