Firstly, this is an alt account. I used my regular account to meet someone from a hookup sub. I’m not posting there because I’m not interested in the onslaught of messages that it will bring.
After posting on a hookup sub, a man reached out to me. His message was nice and addressed everything I requested. We started talking via KIK and made plans to meet.
He is visiting my area on business. He doesn’t live here. He was staying just over an hour away from where I live. On the way to meet him, I decided to stop off for gas. I don’t want to have to deal with it on my way back when it’s late. I fill up my tank, get back in my car, and it will not start. I have no idea why. I’m not into cars. In a panic, I contact him and have him call me. He calls me, and I almost immediately start crying. I’m an hour from home in a city where I know no one. I have to hope that this random Reddit stranger doesn’t just tell me, “Sucks to suck,” and hope that he has a car with him.
