This was about 10 years or so ago when I was in college…but still remember this girl like it was yesterday.
My senior year in college, a couple buddies and I decided to rent a house for the year (not uncommon at our college). Needless to say, it turned into a party house for all of our friends. One night, a friend of mine, Anne, brought her roommate Lisa over for the first time.
Anne had told me she was extremely religious (blech), and because of that, Lisa was one of those girls that, quite honestly, dressed so plain, she could blend in with the furniture. Which was a shame, really. She was about 5’2, a bit curvy, with straight red hair.
We hit it off fairly quickly, and found out we both had relatives from the same area of western Massachusetts (a rarity at a school in the Pacific Northwest). By the end of the night, most of the party had either left or, in Anne’s case, had passed out in the living room.
