Beneath the heavy rain, Serene was following the strange pirate men, who were dripping with sweat from all the treasures that they carried on their back. She made sure to not get caught, as she hid herself in a dark cloak, and kept a distance, Yet, all that caution seemed for naught, for no matter how much she stared at their faces, they maintained a blank lifeless expression. They paid no mind to their surroundings, and did not seem to complain in the slightest despite how many rubies, sapphires, and emeralds weighed on their bodies. What baffled Serena the most were the cold lavender eyes that they all had, since such a shade was extremely rare in nature and non-existent in humans.
“A Succubus!” She thought to herself. “I am most sure that they have been enchanted by her, but I will need to investigate further.”
Serena had hoped to investigate the infamous Succubus ship, partially due to her own curiosity, and partially because she desired to get the financial reward for anyone who manages to destroy the ship, as its zombie crew had raided several villages. However, sadly, all the best hunters had failed in their task as they were all men, easily falling into temptation. Still, this did not let Serena fall into self-doubt.
