Here is the second chapter of my first story. I know it’s a slow burn, but chapter 3 is where the fun begins..
Chapter 2
Inside the storage room of the research wing facility, among the other many containers, a large wooden crate sitting on a pallet was tucked into the corner. The wood on the lower portions of each side had become discolored from the rest of the walls from moisture. Thick white translucent liquid had begun to pool on the ground beneath the pallet. After just under two days in storage and hours and hours of soaking the wood of the crate had made the bottom panel of the crate begin to buckle. The contents of the crate had noticed the impending breach and began applying force to the weakest point of the crate. With wet crack, a spot on the bottom of the crate final opened, and the contents began to spill out.
