**Background**
Little background about me, I’m a mid-30s guy, married, in Vegas for a week for a conference. She’s also here for the same reasons, also married, 42. Back about 10 years ago, long before I was married we had a brief affair which lasted a couple months and boy were those two months were so much fun. She had been visiting from our office in Europe.

**The buildup**
That brings us to yesterday. We are in Vegas for a conference and ran into each other. It was great catching up. Laughing at the stupid shit we did in the past. We had others with us too so we didn’t do anything silly, but drinks were flowing and we were bar hopping after the game.
We were all very tired and jet lagged from our 6am flights, so we decided to call it a night. Since we were with a group of people and I didn’t want to raise any eyebrows, I texted her and asked for her room number. She responded back saying “it’s <redacted>, but no funny business” which was a bummer but I’m ok with that.
