So, just as a warning, this is a bitter sweet story.
It has been just a couple of hours since I left her house, but the story starts one week ago.
Very recently my girlfriend broke up with me, and I was destroyed. We had been falling apart for a while, but she had become a beacon of happiness in the shitshow of the pandemic. That is why it really hurt. I am an introverted and shy person, so I just shut my feelings deep inside and put all my energy on work.
Now, I live and work in a big house in a very rural place. The only young people that live near are a few couples and some girls that work on a nearby school. Most of the other neighbors are very old retired people, which makes me one of the few single guys in my area.
