Typical hot summer day, 91 degrees, and the sun beating down unrelenting all day. A pleasant surprise of a cool summer rain comes down around 5:30 PM cooling off the evening air. After dinner, with a glass of wine in one hand, I go and lounge on the patio only lit by the moon. The chilly air kisses my skin sending shivers through my body but I’m enjoying this feeling and the fresh air too much to care.
You walk outside and drape a blanket over my shoulders, I smile up at you appreciative and you kiss the top of my head. I’m sitting cross-legged on the lounger but outstretch my legs and scoot over to make room. I open a blanketed arm, inviting you to lay with me and you happily oblige. We snuggle together for a bit before I look over to you and you meet my gaze before kissing me softly.
I love your lips against mine and the butterflies I get in my stomach from your kiss. I use the blanket to pull you into me, pressing my body into yours. We continue this for some time, enjoying the night air and each other’s lips as our hands grope at each other.
