Joe was the college chad but of course not the kind you see in memes. No, Joe was both handsome, strong, charismatic, smart, and hard working. The joke around Joe was that he was anything but the Average Joe. Many of his friends would say “God specked him out for all classes” (Joe also gamed).
His other friends would say “Joe could play any sport so he should play for the one which paid the most.” (Joe was a sporty person)
Joe this, Joe that. Joe was literally Jesus to some.
Veronica wondered what was something Joe couldn’t do. What was some flaw? The way she saw it, Joe was a Mary Sue but for real life. She supposed she wasn’t exactly the most flawed herself, but she had limits and lenses to which she excelled. She sighed.
That lens of expertise was limited to her appearance and her academics. She was cute and hot or so the pervs around her had many times said. She just couldn’t hold much of a conversation or woo anyone she actually liked.
And what made it worse is, she liked Joe.
