“It’s not scientifically or medically correct but it could work.”
Rachel was always a bright, bold guest in our house. My wife Jen and I have dinner with her about four or five times a year. Rachel knew that Jen and I had been trying to get pregnant for months to no avail. Jen was always giving Rachel status updates and test results on the phone. We had known Rachel long before she became a Urologist. She was apparently interested in helping us figure out our fertility. From what I understand, almost none of Rachel’s actual work has to do with male fertility, but she was interested in the topic.
We first met Rachel in college at VCU. Her and Jen both joined the same sorority, and the three of us spent a lot of time together. I specifically remember one summer, when we all agreed to sublease an apartment for a couple months together.
That summer, I learned how much Rachel just straight up loves sex. She loves talking about it, having it and was genuinely interested in all of her friend’s sex lives. Kind of intense, but being “Sex Positive” has it’s benefits. Despite this, she’s pretty conservative with her own dating life. Not that it’s any of my business.
