A little bit of background: I was born in a fairly conservative Muslim family and lived in the West until my tweens at which point my family moved to the Middle East. I started wearing hijab at a fairly young age and identified with it for a long time. I was also exposed to porn at a fairly young age and it fuelled me ‘sluttification’, if you will. I came back to the West for college and lost my virginity to a long term boyfriend and then had several short-lived but exciting sexual escapades.

This incident happened when I had graduated and returned home and had lost the independence I had while I was living away from home for college. So I was now back in my parents home, living in a Middle Eastern country in the pre-Tinder era, and didn’t yet have a driver’s license.
I did manage to get a job in a large NGO where I had proven myself as a sophisticated, knowledgable, highly motivated, and hardworking individual. But the work itself was not that fulfilling, as I had basically been hired through personal connections. I was essentially a glorified intern. Needless to say, I was bored and horny.
