I became the coach for a girls high school volleyball team pt.1 [mf]

If you don’t want to read the backstory to this just skip to the part after:

•••••••••••••••••••••

I had been playing volleyball since I was five years old, I guess you could say it was a family tradition.

I played throughout elementary school and high school, in fact, I was on my way to get a college scholarship for my good performance.

Well that was until I got into a car accident that made sure I would never play any sport ever again, because every time I walked I had this limp from my hip being displaced. I wasn’t handicapped in the sense that I couldn’t stand on my two feet, but I might as well of been, because my career as a professional volleyball player had ended before it had even began.

I was offered the position as the assistant coach for the guys volleyball team at my high school and I took it, even though I couldn’t play I still loved everything about the sport and wanted to be a part of the team.

After being the assistant coach for the guys team for a semester the principal approached me with the offer to be the head coach of the female team.
