In the days that followed me and Kayli returning from Park City, we both threw ourselves back into our jobs. She was keeping things more professional between, both when we saw each other and during phone calls. It was that Friday when I was working in the office and Jennifer and Tara walked in, coming up to my desk, and Tara saying, “we both have problems we need to talk to you about.”
I looked at the two blonde girls, Tara standing six feet tall with her dirty blonde hair pulled back in a ponytail and Jennifer, a foot shorter, her strawberry blonde hair in an A cut around her pretty face. I asked them, “professionally or personal?” They sat down as Tara said, “personal. Jennifer, you first.” Turning to look at Jennifer, she said, “mines not really a problem, I hope. More just a change in our relationship.” I said OK and waited as she elaborated, “well, it’s just that my husband and I have decided it’s time to grow our family and we want to try for a baby.” I got a smile on my face and said, “that’s awesome, you guys will be great parents.”
