Jess was in the study putting down one book and looking at her vast collection looming over her she wondered what adventure should great her next. She paced her bookshelf brushing her fingers across the spines of her books hoping one would scream out at her. She snapped out of her pondering as she heard the click of the door from the direction of the back of the house. Ethan had been waiting for a sunny day to tackle the weeds, Jess much preferred to read about the sun than to be in it too long today. She was hoping Ethan wouldn’t be too tired, as the book she just finished, it’s weight still in her hand had climaxed with a passionate love scene to cement the love of the two protagonists. She bit her lip hoping that same passion would fill her.
Ethan’s footsteps echoed through the halls, as he made his way to Jess little corner of heaven in the home. He missed Jess as he spent long hours this weekend in the thicket of bramble. he’d stopped not for fatigue but for yearning. He was working on the flower bed when he was reminded last summer, as a couples they fumbled and fell into desire. Rolling in the grass shielded by only a parasol failing to hide their bodies as Ethan stripped Jess down to have her for his own.
