So for about a year or so, I’ve been going to massage parlors to get my back massaged. I sit at a desk all day (probably like many of you) and my back hurts as a result.
There are 2 or 3 places that I usually go to, depending on who has openings. I never know when my back will hurt or when I will be free, so it’s often spur of the moment. On this particular day, none of my usual spots had openings, so I tried a different place. I read the reviews and most were positive although one stood out and lead me to believe it may be “one of those places.” I prefer “Asian” parlors because the massages are typically much deeper and work better for my back. I don’t know if it’s a cultural things or a training thing, but most of the popular “spas” don’t help my back.
When I arrive, it looks like most other “Asian” massage parlors from the front; in a strip mall, flashing open sign and posters in the window. I go though the door and then there is a second door with a door bell. This is sign # 2 that this place is different. I ring the door and am lead into a room. It’s nice inside and the lady is nice. She’s probably 45-50, 5’8 with long black hair; fit but not thin.
