The One That Got Away, Again.
This one went really really long, sorry but it’s a good tale of you can stick with it.
Back in my mid twenties I was working at a big box store over nights stocking dog food. Everyone else on my crew hates that job but it came with the best nights off to accommodate my second job of working in a bar DJing on the weekends. I didn’t mind the physical work and honestly it helped me drop a few pounds. (Not saying I got ripped… far freakin from it. I’m a big dude. Always have been and always will be.)
I somehow ended up matching break schedules with this very pretty reserved girl who worked in the office. She would come in on break and sit in the corner and read. Instant turn on for me. I have always loved nerdy girls, be it reading or comic books or just wearing glasses and playing with their hair.) Then one day, I was at break and she didn’t come in. Admittedly I was a little bummed out but what right do I have, he’ll I didn’t even know her name yet. As I was heading to the time clock to punch back in, we turned the corner at the same time.
