She came home tired, plopped on the couch and flung her socks away. “Babe” she shouted, waiting for him to answer. But he didn’t. she understood, he might be coming late today, the same as the past few nights. She missed having him come home before her, so when she came, she could melt in his arms right away.
sighing, she got up from the couch and went to the kitchen.
Opening the fridge, her eyes fell upon the huge orange flavoured dark chocolate bar they had bought the other day. She decided to make dessert for dinner but instantly realised they had some amazing brownies the other day that they had fun baking together. And it immediately brought back the memories and with that came a shiver down her spine! The way they made love, right their on the kitchen countertop and then on the floor, all while waiting for the brownies to bake. She started missing him even more, even though it would only be a matter of time and he’d be home in an hour or so.
