So this story took place about 6 years ago when I was an orientation leader at the college I was going to. Basically, I was one of the guy’s that took groups around campus, showed them some buildings, helped them register for classes, get their student ID cards, and so on. I had just finished my freshman year and this was my first summer doing this job.
The job was actually pretty fun, everyone was pretty cool to work with and it really didn’t seem like work. Every day I got a new group of about 8 students and all my stupid jokes worked just as good as they did the day before. As for myself, I wasn’t the best looking guy in the world, or the biggest, but I did alright for myself. As I would later find out in my college career, confidence is more important than looks, size, or anything really. If you are a confident (and funny) guy, you’ve got a chance.
