To protect the names and identities of everyone, I’m gonna call my husband Charles, me Suzie and my husband’s colleague Lily.
Charles works as a software and IT person for a non-profit here. It’s not a big organization – I’d say mostly just 50 people, and even then I might be over counting. And mostly all women, except for the IT guys and some of the business people. Lily is this new person that joined and let’s just say she’s fresh out of college, a little ditzy, very bubbly and just has no personal boundaries or anything. I’ve met her in passing a few times at events, BBQs, etc., and I’ve definitely noticed that she has a little bit of a crush on my husband.
Now, my husband is not a bad looking guy, but he’s a bit of a tall, sweet nerd. He’s the type of guy that doesn’t realize what a catch he is, and is totally aloof about flirting. Thus, he’s always telling me that I’m crazy if I tell him that Lily is into him, or really any girl is into him, which frustrates me to no end because he’s just not thinking rationally, but anyway…
