She’s always been a tough girl.
Evelyn Payne is a retired marine at 30, and a full time mechanic. She’s been enjoying her civilian life, admittedly at first she found it difficult to readjust but she adjusted soon enough. She chose to retire instead of re-enlisting, seeing as she’s lost many friends and comrades to IED’s and enemy snipers has spurred her to hang up her guns. She saw their faces while she slept, and while the booze kept it at bay she found other demons lurking at the bottom of the bottle.
She had the mouth of a pissed off sailor ready to throw hands but she’s always been kind. Her dad has instilled in her to treat others as how she wanted to be treated, but while she is kind she isn’t stupid either. She didn’t slouch and she kept her combat training sharp. She called out bullshit when she see’s it, and she stepped in when the strong bullies the weak. Evelyn Payne has made a name for herself in her little town and she enjoyed the respect she’s garnered from people.
