The Hotel (f-solo)

**Chapter 1: The Arrival**

Collette rested over cool white linen sheets completely naked. Her long straight black hair lay perfectly arranged over the fluffiest pillow. A warm salty breeze caressed her pale skin as the faint rocking sound of waves in the distance brought her out of her slumber.

Her mouth was awfully dry. Groggy, she sat by the edge of the bed looking down at her feet hovering over the wooden floor, as her eyes adjusted to the morning sunlight coming through smoked glass panels.

She found herself in a single room with one queen-sized bed, two nightstands, one sleek desk and chair in front of the bed, a minibar next to it, a grey single sofa on one corner, a standing mirror on the other, an opened sliding door that led to a balcony at her right and a built in closet that led to the entrance at her left.

She slid off the bed hoping to find something to drink in the minibar. A sudden feeling of terror ran through her spine when, for an instant, her feet failed to reach the ground and she found herself falling into a void. Half a second later, when her feet finally met the warm wooden floor, she realized how tall the bed actually was. At 5’4″ tall and now completely awake, the entire room already seemed larger.
