I turn on the shower letting it run to start the hot water and feel Lakshmi come up behind me pressing her sticky self against my back, “Want to join me” I ask. She is running the water through her hair as I step in to the shower, the water is hotter than I expected and it takes me a while to get used to the heat. She turns to embrace me as I find some soap and shampoo, we soap each other up feeling all over each other, exploring every curve, bump and crevice. I awake the next morning as Lakshmi clumsily extracts herself from my embrace.
