It was 2017 and I 33[m] was traveling for work in San Diego. I ended up coming in a bit early and meeting a [m] friend from LA to relax, go out, and enjoy the town. I love SD, and as an east coaster, love coming to visit this city.
The night started out with a steak dinner, followed by bar-hopping around the gas lamp district… which has its fair share of younger folks- even by my 33yo status. After a few bars, and a few vodka red-bulls, we were both feeling ourselves and ended up at a bar with a mechanic bull in the middle. The bar was pretty packed, and as it was my round, I saddled up to the bar and did my best to get the bar tenders attention.
