So I’ve had serious elbow pain since soccer practice yesterday and my dad recommended I ask for aspirin if it still hurt by the end of the day. When I got to the the small infirmary-room the nurse lady wasn’t there and I (pretty stupidly) got impatient and started digging through the cabinets for the aspirin. The nurse is rarely in there, so I usually help myself to the cupboard even though technically you’re supposed to only get meds if she is present (she never is because she’s always supervising school-sports events when we have them).
The door of the cabinet kind of obstructed the entrance so when I heard someone walk in I almost had a heart-attack thinking it was the nurse–sure she’d think I was a drug addict or something. Whelp, it was the nurse but she didn’t seem to notice what I was doing because she was helping this girl from my grade (*really* hot; to me, anyway) hobble into the room. Obviously her leg must’ve been hurting because the nurse yelled at me to help her the rest of the way to the “hospital”-cot-thingy while she went to do IDK what (be useless, probably). Her face was really red so I just assumed she’d been crying a moment ago from the pain or something.
