There’s an unfortunate amount of distance between Lindsey and I most nights so when I come to her city we try our best to meet up no matter the circumstances. This particular night was special because I had been asked to sing the national anthem at an evening minor-league baseball game. It was a little last minute (as fall baseball game scheduling can be) but she made her arrangements and met me at the stadium.
