During my college days I was a very determined person. I had goals for my career I was working hard to fulfill them. Unfortunately that meant that I didn’t have much time for dating and girls. For my first year of college, I was in a bit of a dry spell. I had broken up with my high school girlfriend Abby and with the exception of a couple 1 night stands I had not had any sex.
During the spring semester I had gotten a job in an Emergency Room in a hospital near school. Having almost next to no skills, my job was to transport patients back and forth from the ER. Most of my shifts were from 7 PM to 2AM. When it was busy I just had to stand next to the wall and make sure I don’t take up too much space but at night things were slow and we were usually able to sit and maybe chat with the nurses, doctor and paramedics. Among these nurses, was Beth. In her late 30’s or maybe early 40’s, Beth was one of head nurses that worked at the hospital. To be honest she was not very friendly. Most nurses are insufferable bitches and she was no exception. She was the type that ordered people around and then trash-talked them when they walked away. However, she didn’t see me as a threat because our jobs barely had any overlap.
