For every man and women in the tribe of Kundal the dawn of adulthood was a very special and sacred part of their lives.
For men, They would have to prove themselves at this age by facing the trials of the warrior. For those who returned from the trials victorious were granted the title of “Man”. Their bodies engraved with tattoos reflective of the traits they most prominently display.
Upon returning home they would arrive to a day of celebration, feasting and wine. At night however the mood would switch to a more serious tone as the rite of manhood was set to commence.
During this ritual the young mans mother would be prepared by the father, her body draped in jewels from head to toe as she is lead down to her sons tent via a golden lead on her hands and knees.
Upon entering the father would explain to the son the rights a man has over the world, this includes the women around him. He would hand over the lead from father to son before the leaving the tent.
